Best way to do this is vis SMS, or Short Message Service.- which provides
the capability for sending messages to a subscriber's handset, providing the
hardware is digital and supports WAP messages. There is a lot to this as an
SMS gateway has to be setup. Check out www.kannel.com, which provides an
open source wap and SMS gateway written in C.
