What happens is that the service provider and/or network operator provides functionality to receive e-mails, parse the e-mail address and pass the message as a SMS text message to the cell phone matching that e-mail address. Cell phones hooked up to different service providers will have different e-mail adresses (@mobilmail.com, @djuice.com etc). If this is for comercial applications you should talk to different network operators in your region for SMSC (SMS Central) API access. Please not that these terms are from an european point of view. regards Jrgen Brecke --- Mark Phelps <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> skrev: > My cell phone can receive text messages that are sent to a specific > email > address.
