Hi:

We are using JRun 3.02 professional edition connected with netscape enterprise web
server on Solaris 8. We have
run into a new problem I wondered if any one else have experienced. We have 6-7 web
applications running on one
jrun server. Our backend is oracle (8.1.6) and most of applications get connections to
DB through JRun internal db
connection pool.

What we observed is that JRun sometimes shutdown by itself. I saw a couple of times
the message "Forcing Shutdown
..." in the error log and JRun terminated itself right after that. We actually
clicked around with those web
applications just a minute before that, things looked pretty normal. Over that period
the volume of requests was
somewhat high but not in an extreme. the number of busy threads( in metric) is in
the range of 20~50, and we
had the maximum of concurrent threads set to 200.

I wondered in what condition JRun will do this "Forcing Shutdown ...". Thanks advance
for your help.
