Just so that you can see the article, it is published in its entirety at the

be able to see from some of the configuration settings, it presumes that
JRun is installed locally. I have discussed changing the settings to debug
remotely, but Mark said that he had not had time to try that yet. I worked
on it for about a day, and was unsuccessful.

So I guess my original question still remains, has anyone been able to
remotely debug a servlet using JRun?

I am right in the middle of "discovering" this myself. Try going to
http://search.borland.com/ and search for "remote debugging" - lots of
information to be found there!
