Did anyone reply? Let me just tell you this, since it's public knowledge
you could find out on your own.
We have a couple people who are developers on the Apache Axis project at
xml.apache.org. Axis is the next generation implementation of SOAP and
other Web Service-related "stuff." Glen Daniels is one of the lead
developers, and he is a Macromedia employee, working full time on the
project as a Macromedia employee.
As far as product plans go, we're planning Web Service support in JRun 4.0,
as well as a Web Service "tech preview" of some sort in the near future.
But in the meantime anyone can download and deploy Axis or Apache SOAP on
JRun 3.x. Sorry I can't be more specific, but that gives you a gist, I
guess.
