I currently have a very extensive website that consists of HTML, Perl and some PHP all using MySQL. I have been creating some JSP applications, but can't figure out how to make it work in the system I already have.
I have: PIII 850 256 MB Ram RedHat 6.2 Linux Apache WS MySQL Perl 5 PHP 4 JRun 3.1 4,000+ documents in a Perl Knowledge base 1,000+ static documents scattered around this site currently manage with DreamWeaver. I have been trying to integrate this, but I have found that when I set up JRun to work on the IP address for my current site, All requests are then routed through the JRun web server for that IP address. It also seems I would have to completely re-structure my file system to accommodate that with the static files, and still have not messed with how to get Perl & PHP to be run through the JWS. Is there a way that I can "ONLY" forward requests from Apache based on a directory like /Servlets or by file extension like *.jsp? This is how Perl and PHP work currently with Apache, and Really, really want to keep the same functionality with JSP/Servlets. --- Thanks Mick Knutson Discover Financial Services Office: 801-902-4244 Fax: 801-902-4123 Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
