Yes. In-memory replication for stateful session beans is supported. We will provide a shared global JNDI cluster tree and a federation of server trees.
And, yes, Nozomi and Neo will co-exist peacefully on the same machine, though I don't know whether or not this is the case during their respective betas. -----Original Message----- From: Justin (Home Office) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, January 07, 2002 7:55 PM To: JRun-Talk Subject: Re: newbie questions - clustering Hi Mark and list , >We find many people are now using hardware devices (such as Cisco Local Director and others) for this >type of clustering. I should have been more specific .(as charlie suggested :-) ) This is th e area that I interested in. There doesn't seem to be many J2EE servers tha t currently support this. JBoss seems to be the only open-source one, and WebLogic does as well + a few others. Does this mean in-memory replicatio n for stateful session bean failover , and a shared global JNDI cluster tre e al WebLogic 6.0 ??? > I encourage everyone to download the public beta of this release that w ill be available early next week. I will post instructions on how to access the beta once it is available. Excellent timing :-) >PS. Neo is built on J2EE technology. JRun will be the J2EE engine runn ing inside Neo. Just one additional question regarding NEO, will NEO and Nozomi co-exist happily on the same machine? > Mark Thanks Justin ______________________________________________________________________ Macromedia ColdFusion 5 Training from the Source Step by Step ColdFusion http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0201758474/houseoffusion Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
