We run JRun under HP-UX without problems. Our application has a low to
medium number of concurrent users but a high amount of database access.

Subject: Problems of JRun running in HP-UX

Hi,

We had a big problem with JRun running in HP-UX.
We are running an application using JRun and iPlanet in HP-UX.

Well, the problem is that the application gets "frozen". The CPU reachs
its maximum level and it stays there. It never gets free. The only
solution is to restart the JRun.
This problem happens when more than one user is accessing the
application and both are asking for lots of information. I mean if two
users are consulting the Oracle Database and getting lots of data.....
Caio. Restart the JRun.

We did all types of tests. We think it is the multithread or the
connection with the VanApi. We are using the application to access
Peoplesoft 8.6 Cliente so as to get access through the web. But
something is going wrong....

Solaris is recommended for such a structure, but we had to use HP-UX. So
I dont know if this might be the problem.

If anybody can give me some clues, I will be most obliged.

Yacoub
