Macromedia announcement regarding JRun 2.3.3 support:

With the release of JRun 4.0 Macromedia has determined that JRun
Product Support will continue to support JRun 2.3.3 for an interim
period instead of the standard 30 days of support. This will be
effective through August 31, 2002.

In addition, customers who purchase either a Silver or Gold support
plan which covers JRun will be supported for JRun 2.3.3 for up to one
year from the release of JRun 4.0 (May 31, 2003) under the following
conditions:

Silver support:
Customers having a current Silver support plan may add JRun 2.3.3
extended support for an additional $1,000. This is one time fee and
may not be discounted. This extended support is valid through May 31,
2003 as long as the Silver support is maintained at least through that
period. If a customer chooses this option and their Silver support
plan expires and is not renewed before May 31, 2003 than the JRun
2.3.3 support will end as well.

Gold support:
The $1,000 fee will be waived for our Gold Support customers. They
are automatically eligable for this extended support through the May
31, 2003 date.

This extended support includes installation/configuration assistance
and fault isolation of Servlet/JSP issues. JRun 2.3.3 will not be
enhanced to support later version jvm's or Web Servers and no JRun
Service Packs are planned. Bug fixes for critical issues will be
reviewed on a case by case basis.
