JRun4 comes with Apache Axis SOAP engine already. You can use WebServices right away
with JRun4 without additional configuration. Please look at JRun4 WebServices document
: http://livedocs.macromedia.com/jrun4docs/Programmers_Guide/wsoverview3.jsp#1113226

Just in case, you can find Axis packages in {jrun-root}/lib directory. And there is
configuration in {jrun-server-root}/SERVER-INF/default-web.xml. And also you can find
a skeleton DD in {jrun-server-root}/default-ear/default-war/webservices.wsdd.

JRun4 Feature set : Built-in Web Services Support
Building web services in JRun 4 is as simple as editing a deployment descriptor to
expose your regular Java classes or Enterprise JavaBeans as web services. Consuming
web services is equally easy: JRun 4 automatically generates Java proxies for web
services based on their WSDL files. The JRun Web Service Tag Library can also be used
to dynamically invoke web services from JavaServer Pages (JSPs).

Subject: setting up apache axis on Jrun4

I am encountering difficulties installing axis for use with Jrun4.

Exactly where within the JRun directory do I place the axis folder?

Are there any other pitfalls that I should be aware of?
