Noel,
  thanks, I am working on Jboss and also knew a bit of weblogic and since
in both of them I have seen
of this xml file which u mentioned where in u specify the JNDI lookup name
against the EJB Name and also
specify which container holds which beans etc etc ...
I was kind of looking for a similar kind of xml file in JRun....
Please do let me know how is the scenario in JRun.

there should be a jrun specific deployment descriptor aside from
ejb-jar.xml (i.e. weblogic-ejb-jar.xml). this deployment descriptor is
specific to a container. this is where you actually specify the jndi name
for the ejb('s) you're deploying that will be added to the container's jndi
tree entries.
