We are pleased to announce that the Beta for the Macromedia
JRun 4 Service Pack is now available for download.
By participating in the JRun 4 Service Pack Beta Program,
you'll get a chance to review the latest bug fixes and
performance improvements. You'll also help us deliver a
quality product.
The Macromedia JRun 4 Service Pack Beta includes important
product updates, such as:
* The ability to map CMP 2.0 entity beans to
existing tables,
* Deployment Wizard enhancements,
* Improved clustering reliability,
* JNDI/JMX security fixes,
* Updated JDBC drivers,
* EJB performance enhancements,
* Web Services updated to support Axis 1.0, and
* Improved usability and quality of XDoclet support.
Our engineering team is making great progress enhancing
functionality, improving performance, and correcting
defects; however, to ensure we deliver a stable and
high-quality Service Pack, we'll need your help.
Please take this opportunity to install the Beta software,
work with the product update, and provide detailed feedback.
