Some bizarre things are happening with my JRun server.

We've been running JRun steadily for a few weeks now. This afternoon, on a
whim, I checked to see that the Default server was running smoothly, so I
logged in to the JMC. I saw that it wasn't even marked as running. I
tried to restart it, but nothing happened.

So I went to the console of the Solaris server running JRun and checked the
error logs. I saw something about Default having lost its connection to
the server. I tried to reboot Admin, which shut down fine, but then
wouldn't start back up, claiming that port 2910 was being used by another
process. I checked for any stray jrun processes, and killed them all, but
nothing came of it.

I finally power-cycled the machine, then found a few more stray jrun
processes which I killed. I logged in to the machine, and run jrun from
the command line. It told me that the Admin server could not be started,
even though I received no error messages in the startup process... and when
I browsed to the JMC, the Admin server showed as running, but the Default
server was not. I tried to restart the Default server from the JMC, while
keeping an eye on the error logs. No errors were reported, but the JMC
shows that Default is still not running... although our website is up and
running just fine.

I'm going to explore some configuration files on a hunch, but I'm curious
as to whether anyone has observed this sort of behavior and what it might mean.
