Currently, we are running Jrun version(2) 3.02a and 3.1.  I wrote a
worldwide log rotation process that handles various application logs.

For the Jrun logs (default-out.log and default-err.log), I am doing the
following:

a).  copy the log to a rawlog directory
b).  copy and zip the log to an archive directory
c).  null the current log (the one that the server is writing to)

The Jrun server is not brought down throughout this process.  Thus, we are
seeing unprintable characters in the default-out.log/default-err.log from
doing the null.  And, the file grows.

Is it possible to rotate these two logs without bringing down the server?
If so, can someone provide insight?

Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.
