looking for a Programmer/Analyst with CFMX and JSP experience.
Currently using Cold Fusion MX for J2EE and we are looking to branch into
the Java/JSP world. We are looking for someone who would be able to design
and code either complete JAVA/JSP applications and/or specific tags that we
can use in our existing Cold Fusion applications or share with other in the
company. You will be coding in either CFMX or JSP depending on the
application scope.
We use Oracle for our high use applications and SQL Server for our
low use application. We develop in either an NT or Linux environment
depending on what server we are granted space.
These are the exact requirements:
1) Full Time Java Programmer must be a US Citizen.
2) 1 - 3 years experience in Java and OOP.
3) Knowledge of Java and J2EE (JSP, Servlets, some EJB experience).
4) Some knowledge of BEA WebLogic (Linux).
5) Knowledge of XML and WebServices is helpful.
6) Knowledge of ColdFusion MX for J2EE is very helpful as we do the bulk of
our current development in this language
7) Basic knowledge of: HTML, DHTML, _javascript_ ,lite Flash, lite ASP
(classic as we would like to convert some to JSP or CF/JSP combo)
These are the usual non essential qualifications that management likes:
1) Self - motivated, strong interpersonal skill - must be able to meet with
users and gather requirements
2) Ability to work in a collaborative environment and help others.
3) Intelligent, Motivated and good problem solver as the users never see the
problems that their changes will cause.
4) College degree from a US or well known University - Not actually a
requirement but they like to mention it.
