Hey Troy-

I actually wrote the only book (that I'm aware of) on JRun specifically.
However, because JRun is a pretty strict implementation of J2EE, we haven't
opted to update it.

So...my recommendation would be to get any book relating to J2EE - maybe
start with an overview, then get books on deeper aspects such as EJBs or JMS
or JDBC or JavaMail or whatever will be beneficial to the types of apps you
develop. Also, JRun supports other standards like JMX and XDoclet that can
be really helpful in a number of ways - check out the feature lists and go
from there.

Hope this helps.

  Subject: Books...

  All,

I realize that there are not many books on JRun specificially, but are
there any books about the stuff JRun does?  I am new to the JRun kinda
stuff concepts, so I was wondering if you guys could provide some
suggestion of what I might be looking for and some books about what I
  might be looking for.

  Sincerely,
  Troy
