We are using JRUN 3.1 (build 69820 - the latest.) on Unix and NT and
we are having serious memory problems. We have have to restart the
server each couple of days.

--> I looked at the problem with OptimizeIt and noticed that JRun
keeps the content of every print.out statement (of the servlets
generated out of JSP) of each page in memory (once for the whole
application).

So with each new page I am visiting, I add more to the heap (!).

I verified this by calling a simple Hello World jsp - print out line
of the generated.

Is this a normal behaviour?

I believe that this is a major reason for our memory problems. If not,
I have to keep on searching.

Has anybody noticed the same problem? What can I do about it?

Greetings,
Joos
