MAC means "Message Authentication Code" and "MAC error" means that the paylord of ssh packet could not be unciphered correctly, in this context. What kind of environment are you using? I guess you have installed JCE provider implicitly and the unexpected cipher has been used. I had heard similar problem at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=175058 Please refer it.
