Hi,
I just stated using JSch as the SFTP library for file transfer. Now that I've been familiarizing myself with the code and the examples a few questions have crossed my mind: How actively is JSch developed? I could find a TODO list on the website ( http://www.jcraft.com/jsch/ ) and was wondering is it just a list of nice to have features or is there progress in actively developing the different areas mentioned in the list. From my perspective as a new user of JSch it would be nice to see more documentation and comments in code. Also the exceptions thrown by the JSch are usually just with the id SSH_FX_FAILURE although in some cases they could be more descriptive and include more error information. Now I'm thinking that would it make any sense for me to modify my local copy of JSch, for example to make the error messages and ids to better correspond to the actual server errors, or will there be a new release in the near future that makes those improvements? Anyways I really appreciate that you can provide such a good Java SFTP library as JSch for free! Br, Olli Loikkanen
