Hi All,

Regarding: - Unable to transfer Chinese name files from SFTP transfer (using
JSCH.jar 1.44)

Unable to get the Chinese name file from the ftp server, this problem is
coming in one particular machine (Machine1), we are able to get/put the
Chinese name files to other server ((Machine2) it is working file . We are
not setting the encoding through setFilenameEncoding() in this case.

If we set the encoding setFilenameEncoding("GBK") it is working fine with
Machine1. But not able to get the root cause of this issue.

Is there any encoding dependency in sshd (sftp server) for encoding? From
where the sshd takes the encoding.

As we provide it as utility where our server can run with GBK or UTF-8
encoding. Whether setting the encoding like setFilenameEncoding("GBK"), will
not impact in case if the sftp server is running with different encoding.
Kindly confirm

Why it is able to work with one but not with other machine?

Regards,

Piyush
