after adding in a logger, i see this after some time,

I/jsch    ( 4418): Caught an exception, leaving main loop due to Connection
timed out
I/jsch    ( 4418): Disconnecting from 50.17.236.43 port 22

that's encouraging. still wondering the best way to capture this in my code.
