I didn't really find any differences between the hosts, both were vanilla
versions of the Linux OS.

Is there some log were I can check whether the pseudo terminals are set
properly. Just need some debugging tips.

thanks,
Prakash

   |/bin/su requires a psuedo terminal,A (Bfor execution over ssh.
   |I set the pty flag as follows before executing this command using jsch.
   |((ChannelExec)channel).setPty(true);
   |I works consistently on some hosts, but hangs intermittently on some hosts.

Is it possible to summarize what kind of hosts are good, and bad?
