Hi, +-From: "B. Scott Smith" <[email protected]> -- |_Date: Thu, 29 Dec 2011 20:30:25 -0600 ___________ | |After applying the patch from my prior email, my Sessions would no |longer close, but the performance was noticeably slower when |compared to performing the same test over a port forward with the |native OpenSSH client. ... |I modified ChannelDirectTCPIP.connect() to create the processing thread |prior to sending the CHANNEL_OPEN, and connect() returns immediately. |The thread will now send the command, wait for the reply, and then |continue to process the channel data as always. The performance |improvement in my case was dramatic.
I agree it will improve the performance, but I guess that it will add an yet another reason for Exception: "Received data for nonexistent channel". I mean that data may be sent to the channel, which is not ready. Sincerely, -- Atsuhiko Yamanaka JCraft,Inc. 1-14-20 HONCHO AOBA-KU, SENDAI, MIYAGI 980-0014 Japan.
