Hi Guys,

I am aware that the best way to transfer files is via SCP, but i wanted
to know what the limitations of standard SSH transfer are.

When i use JSch to remotely "tail -f" a log file on disk, i get maximum 700
kb/s on a 100 Mb/s connection.

Is the bottleneck with JSch?

Can anyone suggest how i could "tail download" basically at a higher
transfer rate?

I realize its a non-standard question, but i am interested from a research
point of view.

Thanks

- Mick
