0.9 release

I have created a 0.9 release.  Please insert any tasks/features that  
you wish to go in before its release.  We should get this out the door  
soon since it's been in the kitchen for months.  It's also stopping us  
from moving on as an Incubator project.

I recommend that you enter in tasks that you, yourself, are willing to  
complete in a timely manner.  Any "wishlist" items should go into the  
1.0 release bucket.
