just as the AuthenticatingSecurityManager implements Authenticator and
AuthorizingSecurityManager implements Authorizer, so should
SessionsSecurityManager implement SessionManager.
This is needed to ensure client-tier proxying can work with a single instance
of SecurityManager injected as the target object being proxied.
