I was one of those developers. I was doing 'AJAX' in the early 2000s
(maybe 1999) with Iframes and JSON.
If you think it is hard to convince people that JSON is old, try
convincing them of how long developers have been doing AJAX.
If it doesn't have a name, it isn't real to some people
