Thanks for this Trygve - a lot of really useful perspectives. That's a really interesting point about node bringing a higher class of developer to JavaScript. Obviously the kind of people on this list are going to generally be good programmers who appreciate JS, rather than those who do it because they have to, don't get it, and write bad code.
