I believe that is way to broad of a condemnation of jQuery plugins. Much more accurate would be to state that 'some JQ plugins are not know for robust'. Because the truth is, some JQ plugins are incredibly robust and have been serving the community for years without the need for update or change. I would call that very robust. Of course, there are piles and piles of horrible jQuery plugins, and those should be avoided like the plague. But there are also many, many, finely written plugins as well. To state that jQuery plugins are not robust is incorrect. I feel it is important to try and correct this misstatement. It may lead a beginner reading this thead to avoid all jQuery plugins. This would be a shame. -- To view archived discussions from the original JSMentors Mailman list: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To search via a non-Google archive, visit here: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected]
