Yep, autosave was very frustrating for me, but only before i started
to use Git instead of SVN (= cheap branches and local commits) and get
comfortable with Webstorm unlimited undo history. Now need to save
after every edit in other IDEs is really annoying. IMO optional save
action is necessary in case of editing files on production server =)
