Brams,
on most browser you can capture the "blur" event at document level,
this ensure precedence of that event which is fired before the "blur"
event on the element.

On IE prior to IE9 use activation model events, "onbeforedeactivate"
for "blur" and "onbeforeactivate" for "focus".
