Hi, I was looking around for a javascript validation library that wasn't tied to a <form> element, and found it surprisingly difficult. Dojo has one (dojox.validate) but I wasn't too happy depending on Dojo as a whole, so in inevitable developer fashion I decided to write my own.
It got as far as doing what I needed a little while ago, but I thought I'd polish it up and release it: http://github.com/pete-otaqui/Validator.js http://otaqui.com/blog/1076/simple-javascript-validator-library-validator-js/ If anyone has the time and inclination, I'd really appreciate a code review, or any other thoughts about the library. Many thanks, Pete -- To view archived discussions from the original JSMentors Mailman list: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To search via a non-Google archive, visit here: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected]
