If you want to be picky about it (and I know you do ;), any "unicode letter" is valid as part of an identifier. Any number is valid as long as it's not the first character. As a bonus, you can validly use unicode escapes in a identifier. `foo\u1234bar` is a valid var name, no questions asked.
