Actually, if you only have 10 min... Do you really think inheritance (in any form) is the most important thing to talk about?
IMHO, with just 10 minutes to go and the public you've described, I'd talk about encapsulation, object creation (with new and/or object literals)... polymorphism through duck typing (which may be quite easy to explain to that kind of public)...
