I think we should not talk bad things about comp.lang.javascript. I have 
learned a lot of things by c.l.js and by the members there. There is really 
valuable information written by professional developers. Every of the member of 
c.l.js is welcome here if he follows our rules.

Indeed, this is good start point. This link and posted by Peter Michaux are 
good suggestions on which we should think about it before to write a guideline. 
We are working about CMS for JSMentors and FAQ section. Our plan is to start 
that in January 2011. When we are ready, the mentors would be in position to 
write their articles trough the JSMentors. Also they, me and Rey will maintain 
the FAQ of the list. Of course suggestions from the members of list are welcome 
and appreciated.

I agree with you and I think this thread is step forward about this topic. I 
think with good suggestions by members of the list we are going to draw 
positive guidelines which will improve the reading and posting at the list.
