You can use giga files, not sure if giga is even being developped. The problem with the newer stuff from giga is that it included some kind of additional performance file or some similar AI technology that giga3 could load and use, say to alter vibrato on violins etc, but if you loaded the files into VSampler, you couldn't use those impulse/performance files or whatever, which is where the main advantage of the libraries produced was. I think now that 64 bit and +4gb ram is going to be the norm, giga would have been an awesome technology, even though the disk streaming thing was good, but doesn't beat direct on ram.
