Sonar should have told you that there was no midi out and in device install or whether you want to enable a device or something to that effect at the time you were installing or when you try and start sonar. Did you ever receive any such message? Also I suggest that you take some time to read the sonar help file. This would help you a lot. I know you want to set things up fast quick and dirty. But it would be to your great advantage and in the end faster if you take some time to acquire some solid foundation by starting with the basics. Of course you are always welcome to ask questions here. Hope that helps.
