Subject: [Jsonar] upgrade problems

Hi all,
I successfully upgraded to 8.5.3 of sonar, and installed was about to
install the latest snapshot of Jsonar. My 40 minutes of JFW ended so I had
to cancel the instalation. Today I turned on my computer and there was no
sound. I asked my dad to help and it turned out that my computer showed that
theret were no audio devices connected. Yesterday, the soundcard (the
mpu401) was working fine. I'm going to switch to the audiophile 2496 since
that seems reliable and hopefuly won't give me any trouble.
Please help. What went wrong? Should I get a different soundcard?
Matthew
