Hi all, I got the 2496 all installed and up and running, but my 
xs still doesn't want to work with sonar. I've set all the 
parameters right, but  it still just plays it's own sounds 
instead of dimensions. I've thrown the idea of USB connections 
out the window, and have now connected it through MIDI. The 
result is the same. I've enabled the motif's DAW control mode, 
thinking that would help, but it doesn't. I want to bang my head  
against the wall in frustration Why isn't this working? I'm doing 
everything right. I tried to record with the xs sounds, but when 
I push r to record, it says "not recording". Please help.
