Hello,
I was having trouble getting the sonar trial version to work and decided to take a second look at the registry key. By looking in the registry editor I discovered that for the sonar 8.0 trial version, the correct location of the key is
SONAR Producer Trial\8.0...
The key in the jsonar program is missing the word "Producer" which makes all the difference.

So,
if you're having problems with the registry key, go into regit and verify the correct location of the key.

This is from 8.5 put this in here.

It should already be in there.
if you installed jsonar, your talking about the accessibility reg
implementation right?

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR Producer\8.5]
"AccessibilityMode"=dword:00000002

and for sonar 8.0 use

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR Producer\8.0]
"AccessibilityMode"=dword:00000002

So you see, it's the same, you just got to make sure the name is right
for whatever flavor of sonar your using.

Just put the above respectivde lines in a text file and save as
whatever.reg

or there's a folder where jsonar is installed in your program files
directory and you can find reg keys there for many cakewalk and sonar
products
just run them and say yes when windows warns you.

Hey,

In the sonar producer 8 trial read me file, it says to make a registry
edit, but is incomplete, i.e. doesn't say how to get all the way to
the edit point.

I'm using win XP, anyone know about this issue?

I'd appreciate a step by step on this,

Rich
