Let us know how that goes, it sounds like your issue goes deeper than just the video display issue. If you need any assistance on how to optimally configure your system, feel free to contact me off list.

Hi. oh yeah, 32 bit here. I was half asleep when I read that message last night, sorry. Actually I did find the correct drivers last night after replying to you, but thanks for linking to them anyways. However, after installing them, reinstalling fs video intercept, and reinstalling JSonar and hsc, nothing has changed. And, my soft synth latency issue is back now. I don't know. I'm installing xp tomorrow on a dedicated partition that will only be for sonar. I hope then I'll have something stable. Thanks, Cameron. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of D!J!X! What version of sonar did you install? Did it ask? If it didn't ask then most likely you're running x86 (32 bit), if it did, then your OS is x64 (64 bit). Here are the latest xp drivers for NVIDIA 9/100/200/300/400 series chipsets, (X86) http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-258.96-whql-driver.html Here are the latest vista/windows7 drivers for NVIDIA 9/100/200/300/400 series chipsets, (X86) http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-32bit-258.96-whql-driver.html Here are the latest vista/windows7 drivers for NVIDIA 9/100/200/300/400 series chipsets, (X64) http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-258.96-whql-driver.html To find out what platform you're running on, go to system properties (control panel>system properties, or alt+enter on the computer or my computer icon, or right-click/context key on the my computer or computer icon and select properties). On that first screen use jaws cursor to look at the displayed information, it should say if it's x64 or x86, for windows vista or windows7. If you're still using xp, it is most likely x86. Hi. according to the device manager, I have nvdia g force 9400 gt. this was working fine and I never updated the driver... when I try to find the current driver on the nvdia site though, I'm not finding my card. the site is a bit of a mess. I did reinstall the video intercept as well. I forgot to mention that before. as for x86 or x64, how would one find that out? thanks, Cameron. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of D!J!X! The issue you describe (about jaws not reading tab pages) sounds like a video driver/video intercept issue. Unfortunately, sometimes video intercept issues can't be fix except by a reinstall of the system if you are dealing with certain drivers. This at least has been my experience. What video card/graphics adapter do you have? Are you using an x86 or x64 system? Also, have you modified window titles? I sometimes have to edit the hsc sets if I change the main window title for a synth using the plugIn manager... Hello everyone. I installed hsc build 198 this evening and it did not fix my issue. I am still getting the window not found, hot spot failed message whenever I try to use hsc sets with any of the soft synths included with sonar 8.5 producer. I made sure the proper hsc set was loaded, and I also tried picking things from the list instead of using the hsc command and I just get the same error message. On Sunday, I'm going to have a friend help me install a seperat partition on my system drive that will be for sonar only. until then, is anyone else experiencing this? I don't get it. I'm using the latest hsc sets, latest version of jsonar, latest version of jaws ten, all my display settings are correct, yada yada yada... and there don't appear to be any dialogue boxes etc blocking the dimension pro window for example, at least nothing that the virtual viewer or jaws cursor can see. I can see the presets box with the jaws cursor and the pc cursor in dimension pro, rapture le, etc so why doesn't the virtual mouse click that hsc does work? Also, for some reason, jaws is not reading things in lists and it's not reading page tabs in dialogue boxes etc. it just says tab, when it should say general or drivers etc. This is only happening in sonar though, even after a total reinstall of everything. Anyone have any explanations or further suggestions? This happens with both JSonar and the latest version of ct. I've tried both.
