Well, My workstation works fine when recording. The only issue I have is the same as what andy was mensioning. I never work with more than 12 to 16 tracks. If I do need more tracks I uUsally mix down what I have so far before continuing. For that reason, a control surface is vital. Whether your daw can handle 100 tracks or 20 tracks you still need to mix. Ratha
