If you can afford it, I would suggest you change sound card. I recently (as of March 2010) changed my delta 66 card which I have had for over 11 years. It served me well in the past, however as I started to get into more heavy audio works, the latency issue whether in ASIO or not became unacceptable. It simply became time to change to something else for that purpose. I believe they suggest to set something in the audio section to "safe" in ASIO, however this setting seemed to be unchangeable. I am now using focusrite pro 24 dsp which was recommended by Phil and I am very very happy with it. Thx, Nicki D
