Things work as expected with JRun2.3. Be sure that you placed your
error.jsp-file in the root directory of your webserver. You should test
your configuration with the JRun test files. They are placed in the
following directory:
JRunroot\jsm-default\services\jws\htdocs\jsp\jspsamp092\samples\error
There are two files: testerror.jsp (the one that throws the exception) and
myerror.jsp (the one that is displayed after the exception is thrown).
But pay attention: you have to modify the testerror.jsp file in order to
work properly. The ERRORPAGE directive has to be: <%@
ERRORPAGE="/jsp/jspsamp092/samples/errors/myerror.jsp" %>.
In my installation there was another error in the myerror.jsp file which
caused the compiler to cancel the compilation. But after deleting the line
which caused the error, everything works as expected.

Betreff: Re: AW: exception handeling in JSP
hi,
The ERRORPAGE directive is not working for me, i tried using Jrun2.3 and
throws the Exception intensionally but i got a blank page in response,
instead of ErrorPage, JRun seems to consume all Exception and default to
null Value for the attributes.
also with .92 ref implementation the .java file has Errorpage
filename correctly set but the control is not reaching to the errorpage
file(it also defaults to null).
has anybody is having working example and willing to share with me??
has somebody else seen the same behaviour.

ps: the directive i am using is
<%@ ERRORPAGE="error.jsp" %>
