Rob,
The JSP book in question is a project that a number of people from this list
are attempting to make happen. The TOC was presented here for comment a
couple of weeks ago.
Basically there is a need, and this group is trying to meet that need.
There is a desire to develop this book much like Bruce Eckel of "Thinking in
Java" and "Thinking in C++" fame has done. Hopefully, at the very least
we'll have developed a good web site resource.
And, yes, there will be, hopefully good, code examples.
This is no small undertaking (if we wish to do the job well). This project
is energized by the enthusiasm of its participants. Anyone wishing to fuel
that energy is welcome to do so.
