I am working on Thread management class. It is basically supposed to be a 'smart ThreadGroup'. It allows you to: pass it a job and it creates the thread set max how many threads it will create get statistics reduce or kill all threads politely without using thread 'interrupt' threads are recycled - little or no object create/garbage collect overhead I am writing it for a SPX-TELNET gateway to our mainframe (legacy app only supports SPX). But with a bit of help it could probably support concurrent servlet/jsp-bean activity. Is this interesting with regards to book or anything else for that matter? _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
