Hi!

We are proud to announce the release 0.9.3 of The WebApp Framework.
In the new version the German documentation has been renovated.
But the most important news is that the source code is now
available on our website.

Also we would like to announce that our book "Java Server und
Servlets" is on sale now (Addison-Wesley, ISBN 3-8273-1408-9,
Amazon: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3827314089 ).

English and German table of contents and abstract of the book are in
the resource-section of the completely renovated site. There you
can also find the German-only chapter about persistence.
If you would like to see the book translated, please write us a mail
stating why you want to see the book translated to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. We will forward your mail to
Addison-Wesley.

These are the changes:

General
o Distribution now contains the full source code needed for the
the German book "Java Server and Servlets".
o German API documentation has been renovated and corrected
o Distribution now contains GNUJSP 0.9.8

jo!
o supports Servlet API 2.1.1 now

Persistence
o PersistenceGenericConvertType has been added to support JDBC
drivers that do not return the expected objecttypes
  (e.g. Oracle).

The current release can be downloaded from http://www.webapp.de/

Of course we are curious about what you think about The WebApp
Framework. Also we would like to know what platforms it
runs on. Please don't hesitate to send us your comments and
questions to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

Regards,

Peter Rossbach <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
and
Hendrik Schreiber <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
