Subject: JRun 2.3 default page compile doesn't work

Hi folks. I just downloaded the new version of JRun, with built-in .92
support (finally, a commercial implementation!), and I'm having
trouble getting page compilation to work. If I explicitly set the java
compiler in jsp.properties, then it works. But it seems really slow,
and it pops up a DOS window every time a new page is compiled (!).

The JRun docs say that you can leave the compiler property blank. What
am I doing wrong?

I have jdk1.2 installed.

Any advice is appreciated,
Harris Wulfson
