I just spent a day trying to get JSP 0.92 working with JWS. I ran into a
dead end. According to one list member, the reason is because the 0.92
distribution of JSP has it's own JSDK which is not compatible with jws.jar,
nor is it compatible with any other standard JSDK. The distribution will
only work with its own JSDK. This will presumably be fixed by the time
they release JSP 1.0.

The alternative is to use some other package which supports JSP 0.91 or
0.92 in a standard JSDK (however, these two releases are substantially
different, e.g., BEAN vs USEBEAN). Here are some products I know about but
I'm not sure which ones support JWS (I am playing with 0.92 standalone at
the moment):

- JRun (http://www.livesoftware.com/products/jrun/index.html) claims 0.92
support but it seems that their documentation is only up to 0.91.
- PolyJsp (http://www.plenix.org/polyjsp/) supports claims support for 0.92
with 0.91 support under development.
- Resin (http://www.caucho.com/) looks like it supports 0.92.
- GNUJSP (http://www.xs4all.nl/~vincentp/gnujsp/) supports 0.91.

If anyone has any of these working with JWS, please post!

Chris
