very simple,

just enclose the code with <%  %>

So in your JSP file you can put something like
<%
        Cookie mycookie = new Cookie("myname","myvalue");
        servletresponse.addCookie(mycookie);
 %>

You may want to set this in the beginning of your code because Cookies
are sent as part of the Http Headers and so it won't work if there is a
out.println call before the addCookie method call.
